Job Description
We are seeking a talented Industrial Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial automation, with a strong background in working with a diverse range of industrial hardware including PLCs, CNCs, Electro-pneumatics, SCADA systems, sensors, actuators, and more. As an Industrial Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy customized automation solutions tailored to meet client needs.
- Program and configure PLCs, CNCs, and other industrial control systems to automate manufacturing processes.
- Integrate electromechanical components such as sensors, actuators, motors, and hydraulics into automation systems.
- Develop HMI/SCADA interfaces for real-time monitoring and control of industrial processes.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and optimization of automation systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
- Create and deliver updated content on Industrial Automation with respect to latest industry developments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum Overall CGPA of 7.0 in College.
- Minimum of 6 months of professional experience in industrial automation, preferably in an manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial hardware including PLCs, CNCs, Electropneumatics, Hydraulics, SCADA systems, sensors, actuators, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in industrial automation such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
- Should have experience programming PLCs from at least 2 major automation companies from the following – Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, BnR Automation, Fanuc, etc.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.
- Experience with CAD software for design and layout of automation systems is a plus.
